His Eyes Don't Sparkle Anymore
His eyes sparkle in his eyes sparkle in his eyes sparkle in his eyes. Broken blue glass it's broken the fire blue broken again. The walls the walls. Why are the lines moving? They play like wonderful string instruments, such beautiful noises I can see. The colours are flying again, the colours and lines and noises and his eyes. But they're all gone now aren't they? All gone. I think they're gone anyway. Always anyway. Maybe the fire. Broken glass. The broken blue glass fire gone. But maybe. It's so short, so slow, so tedious, you know. The numbers are flying and the colours are singing again. It all makes more sense now but nobody understands
The laws we break
The rules we disobey
We wonder why they exist
If nobody listens
The spinning room
The loud laughter
The falling and kissing
And the words, the words
What we're afraid to say
The colours fading together
What can we see anyway
What's close and what's far
Just let it be
The warmth of bodies
The soft feeling of hands
But what have we become
Is this who we really are
Let the world go
And give in to the broken rules
Let yourself escape again
Into the blurry walls
The fading colours
The loud laughter
The warm feelings
And get away

Verse 1:
All of the warmth in the shadow's embrace
I hear your words and my thoughts I erase
Out of the whispers that are calling my name
I know I must follow you until the world is aflame...
Chorus:
Reach out, and touch the distant stars
Dream of an endless black sea
Reach out and taste the night with me
Swim through the darkness and you will see...
Verse 2:
And when I sleep, your voice sounds in my dreams
The artist of my life, your blue eyes, they gleam
Out of confusion yo
